Pacific Poker is one of the older online poker rooms, and has traditionally been one of the loosest and most profitable. When online poker began to take off a couple of years ago, Pacific was slow to keep up with the curve. However they have begun the proper additions, and the abundant numbers of horrible players provide an excellent environment for poker sharks.

Player Competition

As noted in the overview section, the primary reason to check out Pacific Poker is the weakness of competition. There are alot of active players at Pacific who genuinely seem to hate money.

By far the worst of the top poker rooms. You can only play one table at a time, which presents a problem for multi-tabler's. Though it did not happen alot, I've experienced most of my "lock ups" while playing at Pacific. Definite room for improvement in this category.

6000+ players online during prime time.

Games Offered

Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha hi/lo, 7 Card Stud, 7 Card Stud hi/lo and 1 on 1. Pacific does not have tournament software yet, but recently added pot limit and no limit ring games, for a step in the right direction.

Besides the competitive sign up bonus of 25%, Pacific also has several promotional games going constantly, including a "Showdown Survivor Series."

Pacific's credit card transactions are handled by Intersafe Global Ltd.

Customer Service & Cashout Speed

I have had no complaints about Pacific's customer service to date.
